Doug Slothower, President of the National Potato Board, sees this snack indus- try program as the perfect promo- tion for the potato industry. “Tying into the Snack Food Month pro- gram is one of the most effecient ways to promote sales of potato chips and, of course, the potatoes used to make potato chips,” Slothower says. SFA is an international trade asso- caition of approximately 900 com- pany members that represent snack manufacturers and suppliers to the snack industry.
