Doug Slothower, President of the National Potato Board, sees this snack indus- try program as the perfect promo- tion for the potato industry. “Tying into the Snack Food Month pro- gram is one of the most effecient ways to promote sales of potato chips and, of course, the potatoes used to make potato chips,” Slothower says.
